Hey all, somebody here may have an answer:
I booked a flight on Travelocity for Costa Rica. I saw that there was one flight from BWI around 3pm, and one early (6am.)
the 6am flight was booked according to Travelocity, and since they were the cheapest (Orbitz, Expedia, et al were all at least 15% more.), I used them.
Today I did a hunt on Expedia, and found out the 6am flight is available again.
This puts me into a quandry:
1. If I take that flight, I'm feet wet before noon in San Jose, with the day to explore, and make it to the hostel.
2. If I don't, I feet wet at around 9:30 PM. day is wasted.
I'd like to keep my outbound flight from San Jose, it leaves at 3pm, giving me time to do stuff in the AM, but I'd love to switch my inbound. I'm willing to pay a little more to book the earlier flight... Anyone have any experience?
