alright, so every year i go to visit my mom, step-dad and sister in texas. my brothers also fly out from Chicago. it's been a tradition ever since our family was first split by divorce and now split because we are all older now and all over the place. i used to be able to fly out of Chicago pretty cheaply but now that i'm in the pacific northwest, it's impossible to find cheap airfare.

anyhow, i need to find a flight from Seattle (SEA) to any one of these airports for no more than $350:

*Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW)
*Dallas Love Field (DAL)
*Austin (AUS)
*Oklahoma City (OKC)
*San Antonio (SAT)

Departing on Wed, Nov. 23rd and coming back on either Sat. Nov. 26th or Sun. Nov. 27th.

any help would be greatly appreiciated.

thanx guys!

on airlineconsolidator.com I found a flight from the 23rd to the 28th for 351 w/taxes.

else I found a couple r/t to anywhere's on skyauction.com but the dates you listed are the only blackouts on those.

bummertime to try and buy thanksgiving week tickets....

343 total if you leave tuesday and return friday to San Antonio on America West.

I tried austin and dfw but it came back with sat as being the cheapest.

besides that if you buy that flight then a certain tpunk could take you out for breakfast!

here's the itenirary for this flight and unless wwm helps you out i think it's your best bet from the sites I checked....

thanx jake and mo. i tried student universe and there wasn't anything available. my best option was airline consolidator who found me tickets for $386 for my set dates. (how do you buy them from this site? there isn't a purchase botton. do you just call AA or whoever the airline is and tell them you found that deal?) the dates aren't anymore flexsible than i already mentioned due to restrictions and both anthon and my jobs.

yea, maybe mike or someone will come along with some more help. thanks again guys! Jake--> Mo--> . i really do need all the help i can get. this trip is really important to me.

when you search and find what you want then click "check availability" and it will bring up another page and if it's available then click "booking" on the right side of the screen...

you should be able to handle it from there....

Hi Beth,

I checked a few low-cost airlines that I know of, but could not beat the price Jake found. That IS for Thanksgiving weekend, which is the busiest time of the year.

The best I could do would be a buddy pass, which would be standby travel. That could be very rough at this time of the year, with a good possibility of you getting stranded in one of your stops, or never making it out of Seattle.

I know I'd be leary of flying standby over the Thanksgiving holiday...but, if you don't end up finding anything, and it's your last hope, you are more than welcome to a buddy pass (price will be in the $200 range roundtrip, I think...).

wow, thanks so much for all your help guys. i'm so used to finding tickets right away from chicago for around $200. either that or my brothers and i jump in my metro and drive 12 hours to dallas. not an option from here though. oh well, i guess i'm going to have to bite the bullet on this one. hey, it's just money...right? thanks SO SO much for the offer mike. that is extremely generous of you. but like you said, i wouldn't want to be stranded in an airport on thanksgiving.

you guys are amazing! thanks for trying.

Have a nice time back in Texas. Say hi to the Lone Star state for me!

(and if you run into Mo, give him a big old kiss for me as well!)

^ It's a pretty small state, so the odds are good on that.
