Does anyone know the cheapest way to get from Greece (anywhere) to anywhere in Italy? I will be travelling in Nov. throughout Europe and just looking to save some money for alcohol...
Thanks |
There are a few ways. You can take a ferry from one of the islands-- I'm pretty sure it's Corfu-- to Brindisi; I've heard it's great but the journey takes about 18 hours. You could also look into a flight on one of the many budget airlines within Europe. Check out Which Budget, that's probably the best place to find a plane ticket. Or you could give the train a shot, but it'll probably take a good long while as well.
Have fun! |
if you overnight on a Ferry deck (which is crazy cheap) BRING A BLANKET a nice and warm one... or a sleeping bag... it is soooooooooo cold...
Haha this seems like my #1 piece of advice on these boards  |
:wine: If you just research anywhere down the coast you will find a ferry easily. Or look at the flight (Ryan Air - dirt cheap, but you get what you pay for). Best of luck, italy kicks ass and i am SOOO jealous your going to Greece, have a great time!

I took that cruise from Bari to Patras this summer. It was a blast as long as you have a blanket, and booze. It helps i dont remember waking up, but make sure you are awake for your stop. If you are going to corfu, the stop will roll around about 6 am, and the stop for patras at about 9am.
The drinks on the ship are expensive so stock up with a jug of wine or a case of beer. We had 15 people from Georgia to Romania drinking with us by 10pm cya....lilchappy  |
