I know the Terravision service can get me from Ciampino airport to the Termini station..But I'm just wondering if there are cheaper coaches available? I'd prefer to save the money for other things...So much to see in Rome!

Fyi, I get into Rome around 12nn (Tuesday) and my hostel's near the Termini station. Solo, first time travelling Europe, 20-year old girl, first stop in Rome... so I'd REALLY appreciate the advice.

THANK YOU!

There are shuttle buses that run between that airport and Termini. I took one when I flew from rome to Paris. I dont exactly recall the price but I think it was around 13 euro one way. It's a pretty long bus ride and much cheaper than a taxi. The airport is quite small so ask around and someone will help you find it. Rome is awesome so have fun! I will try to find a link for the bus.

Question

Woops its only 8 euro for a one way. 13.50 for a return bus ticket:

Quote:
Terravision advises all passengers to be at the stop at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. The coach will not wait for you if you are late!
Ciampino airport «-» Termini Station

** 1. Go to the Terravision desk in the arrivals hall of the airport. Our reps will tell you where your coach is waiting for you.
** 2. If you need a ticket purchase it from the Terravision desk in the airport arrivals hall.
** 3. If you already have a ticket, present it to the Terravision rep (or the driver if there is no rep).
** 4. Climb aboard and select your seat. The coach will leave once all passengers have arrived.

Question

You won't find anything cheaper than 8 euro...except walking hehe.

Good luck though!
