Ok im trying to get plane tickets to London from Atlanta, GA. Round trip from June 12th to July 6th. The return date is flexbile. Two of us, maybe three, will be travleing. If possible we will fly into London and out of Edinburgh but in and out of London can be done as well.

I have checked every website known to man over and over and over again for the past couple of weeks and the cheapest flight on all of them, with tax, is around 900 dollars for each ticket.

Please if anyone knows of a better/cheaper way to get to LHR please help. 900 dollars before we even get to the UK is crazy. We need help before we jump in a box and Fed-Ex are asses over there ... im not joking either

I'm no expert but it does seem a *little* steep. But you should know that that June is the Most Expensive Peak Travel Time Ever (to Europe). Which sites have you been searching? I'll check around a little bit too.

it is expensive but try looking at flights from new york to london on an international airline. I would try www.statravel.com. Then check into domestic flights from atlanta to new york on a website like www.expedia.com. that should save you some money. traveling to europe in the summer is their busy season. Be prepared to spend a little more for just about everything you do.

Good luck

i wish i could go ealier but I graduate from high school on June 2nd. I have checked every website that tpunk.com has and searched for more on google. New york is about 200 dollars cheaper. A train ticket is 90 dollars there but it will take 15 hours to get from Greenville, Sc to NYC. 15 extra hours is a lot of time to save 100 dollars, it would faster to work for the 100 dollars.

hey man 100 bucks is alot of money!

Another thing i would like to add is that the 8 hour layover I had in NY was AWESOME and a great part of my trip.

Keep in mind that getting there is half the fun and the Amtrak is always a good time and so is the Big Apple....

100 dollars is great but Ive been on Amtrax for more than my share and just got back from NY. I would rather work for the extra 100 dllars than have to spend a travling day still in the states. I agree Jake, getting there and back is more than half the fun but I've seen it/done it here in the states. I dunno, im impatient i geuss, ready to go.

I wouldn't mind going somewhere else in the southeast but Atlanta is pretty much the main terminal around here.

Hey mate.
Remeber that flight I found ya for 629 the direct from Atlanta to London round trip, you can find that one on www.travelcuts.com the only thing about it is that it donst say what airline your flying with, just says major airline and too purchase it you need eaither a ISIC or IYTC, the first one is a student card and the other one is a card for people under the age of 26 who arnt full time students. you can purchse the card at the Travelcuts site, you'll probably have too send them a picture passport size and in 2-3 weeks they will send you the card. If you wanna find out what flight it is, just contact them there is a contact link on their webpage so just call the nearest store, shitty thinng is it isnt in Georga its in new york or Illinois but they can look into ther puters at what plane its with. Good luck with it man
will

Cheapest I found was 803 on STATravel.com. You are going in the peak season. I would try leaving on June 11 or 13. June 12 is a sunday which is a hot travel day. You can save by using Sat or Mon as your departure date.

Good Luck!

a really good way to find cheap flights (got me to london for 200 at cmas 2004) is travelocity.com flexible dates flights... Its amazing. I'm waiting for texas-lon flights to hit that again for this winter, it'll be great. Right now they're around 350...
