Thumbs up

So...I checked out studentuniverse.com for a cheap ticket, and it seems like they have the best price, but the cost they give is before some taxes/fees. I have to sign up before I can find what the ticket really costs, so I was just wondering if someone could tell me approximately how much the tickets are after the fees. Before them, it says the tickets are $444.48.

it's a bit of a hassle for me to sign up at SU.com, as i dont have a school email account, and i've found a ticket for $577 total elsewhere, so I was just wondering if it was worth it to sign up there at SU.com.

Thanks!

PS Oh sorry, this might help, its a round trip ticket, Chicago-London. Danke. =)

Thank you! i'll def sign up then!

Well the $577 has a short stop in Atlanta, GA, but only for about an hour and a half I think. I found it on http://www.kayak.com, departure date may 15.
Cheaptickets.com had one for $598 total on British Airways. Good luck hope that helped
Oh and priceline had round trips for $650 total.

I am a member at studentU, so if you give me your travel dates I can tell you exactly how much it is.

When I have looked at tickets on it, the taxes are generally more than 50-60 but they are still cheaper than normal. Hopefully I can help!!

OOOH thank you!!

Chicago-London (any airports)

Depart Chicago May 15, any time!, and leaving London July 17, any time.

Is it generally more expensive to fly on weekends though? Because I am flexible on my date to be leaving London...wondering if I should leave on a weekday rather than the weekend.

Do you really like being a part of Studentuniverise? is it very helpful?

I'm a member of SU too. I'm awake, so I hopped on Brit's offer. It turned out to be 557 after taxes for the dates you requested. I checked a few other dates and there didn't seem to be a variation in price. That really isn't a bad price though especially considering the dates.

In addition to checking StudentU, I checked a couple of other places and WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

At www.economytravel.com I found a flight leaving May 15 from O'Hare and coming back on July 19 for $603 including taxes round trip.

Also, if you are willing to leave a day later, May 16 and come back on July 19, you can get a flight for $573 inc. taxes.

Damn, I wish my flight was that cheap.

Well, I still think $557 is cheaper than $603, but that's just my opinion.
