I havn't been on one of their flights yet, but have the same trip as you scheduled and purchased. NO one on here has ever had any negative comments about them, so I hope it all goes well.

I forgot to mention....if you are on a budget, play around w/the days...I planned on leaving Londonm on a certain day, and found if I flew out a day later I could get a flight for about $35 less, so do your homework if you have the flexibility.

where abouts are you going?

RyanAir is interesting. Generally, you'll check in and have to go sit in a lounge somewhere to wait for your gate to be announced. Then it's a mad rush to the gate, lol, where they'll take your ticket / look at your passport, etc. Then it's another mad rush-- LITERALLY-- as you walk (or in some cases people run, I have seen this!) across the tarmac and climb up the stairs into the plane. Seats are not assigned, which is the reason for the haste.

Are you departing from Stansted Airport? Usually the case with RyanAir is that the airports are secondary joints way the hell and gone from town. Luckily there are a few options for getting to Stanstead easily from central London. You can use Stansted Express Train, which is expensive and departs from Liverpool Station, or you can take a coach which is MUCH cheaper at National Express. You might even get lucky and score one of the 1 pound internet specials. :)

If you're departing from Luton the same rules apply, except I don't think they have an express train yet.

Jaimie7777 03-23-2005 05:03 PM

that would be cool.
I'm in Italy from May 22-31. Rome for 5 days and then to Naples for 2 days, day trip to Pompeii and Capri and then 2 days in venice.

Then To France. 5 days in Paris, and trips to Versailles, Normandy and not sure where else.
I'm in England for 9 days as well.

Trying to book my train rides in italy on trenitalia but i guess i'm still a couple of days early. Trying to ensure i have my travel down so I don't have to come up with more $$ whilst i'm over there!!

I have reserved my hostels for my 5 days in Rome and France but no where else as yet. :wine:

gemini23 03-23-2005 09:26 PM

hey were going to be in rome at the same time. Well i think! i dont have my calendar in front of me but im most possitive we are.

We dont know where we are staying yet but we should get together for a drink.
