hallo all,
well, this has been an enlightening experience but being stuck in a rail station is not all its cracked up to be. i am very greatful for one thing, ok two including the twenty four hour internet cafe for .75 USD. the other being that for some strange reason i stopped and bought a bottle of polish spiced vodka before i left wroclaw, this has definitely helped the past six hours pass by a little easier. it is kinda strange stuff, more like a schnapps then vodka, but with all the alcohol of vodka. it has kept me warm and toasty through the night, and believe me it is very cold and damp in poland right now.
which leads me to the other purpose of this post, i had originally planned to travel north through warsaw into latvi, lithuania and estonia; but the weather turned to fast for my skinny body. so now i am going south towards brno(ch. rep.), brataslavia (slovakia) and then from there probally crotia, macedonia, and the FYR. but i am free to do as i wish. any one got any suggestions. let me remind you that i am a traveller who hates churches and museums (hate is probally to strong a word) but i am always in search of countries where the people are friendly, open , and forgiving of a silly american.
so throw what you got at me, and i might even mail you a botlle of absinthe if your info turns out to be extrodinarily useful. i've got over a month so i might just make it all the way to turkey, that is if i can get out of this polish rail station.
