Ok so i was watching the amazing race last night and i noticed a HUGE difference in seat width and leg room between two different planes.
I know they were both economy (thats one of the rules) so i got to thinking, how do i find a flight that will have larger seats? i have long legs, so would really appreciate any extra room, + i dont fly well, so long haul oz to UK is gonna suck.

Anyone have any advice?

cheers
Z

Awww, I thought by the subject that this was a question of aesthetics.. in which case, long legs always win!

This is only slightly related, but I found it amusing:

hey, when i fly OS or local i usually get there earlier and ask for the emergency exit seats, they have more leg room (maybe extra 30cm or more depending on what airline), most of the time you have to be 6ft tall and male though.

As a 6'4" tall drink of water, I ALWAYS ask for the Emerg exit seat, or the bulk heads. When asking for an emegency exit seat DO NOT take the window..some emergency exit doors have a large out shoot that is right in front that hold the slide...and thats worse that seating in a regular seat.

i'm gonna have to start doing the same thing, especially with air canada. funny thing with them, there's more leg room on their domestic flights.
