ok so they could get me on a flight on august 10th for a 250 dollar change fee and bunch of other bull crap fees totaling 323 dollars... on top of the ridiculous amount I already paid (768) I mean shit at this point in time I just wish i could cancel out and buy a ticket the right way. Oh well live and learn and hopefully all you Tpunks out there will learn from my mistake...
BTW I am not leaving early I cannot afford to change the ticket... And at this point I am checking on the possibility of changing the return date... but that will probably have a ridiculous change fee as well... so i will be stuck in brazil.... Not such a bad thing i guess...lol

BUT SERIOUSLY DONT BUY FROM SKYAUCTION.COM!!!!

jake, how many more days to you have until your flight is scheduled to leave? if it's a few weeks try to get a bullshit job, or a waiting job so you can add the tip money to your travel funds. that's the problem with staying too long right? not enough cash. at least this gives you time to pull together some more cash.

sorry to hear you couldn't change your flight.

yea i could get a bullshit job... but unfortunatly i find myself content sitting around watching reruns of M*A*S*H instead of making the money needed to pay the f*N credit cards and save up more for brazil. I've got enough for a month and a half as it is and from what I have heard from bgirl and my other buddy down there it shouldnt be very difficult to teach abit of english to make some cash. Anyway thats what im hoping for... M*A*S*H is just too damn good... I mean seriously is there anyone wittier than Hawkeye Pierce? well is there???

EXACTLY you cant think of anyone cause their isnt... Hawkeye is the single greatest television personality ever. end of story...lol

But dude, think about it, if you got a job, you could totally make money and BUY the MASH Dvd's... then you could watch Hawkeye Pierce whenever you wanted! It would be great. You could take them to Brazil and use them to teach Brazilians how to speak English. You could make millions from it. Ok maybe not millions but at least a dollar.

Wittier than Hawkeye huh? Hmmmmmm.... I'll get back to you.

Hey jakethepunk I checked that website and it looks like they have some fabulous deals, is that real? I mean other than having to pay exorbitant fees for changing the schedule (I'm always buying regular tickets to Brazil and I still had to pay a U$175 to change the arrival date) did you ever use their services before?? ANYBODY OUT THERE?? THX!!!

yea dude i bought my ticket from them.. and the change fee is ridiculous yes... and my total cost from phoenix arizona to sao paulo r/t was 790 with travel insurance.

So I guess if you have absolutely set dates then it isnt such a bum deal but most of us on the site kinda fly by the seat of our pants so to speak and arent particularly fond of being locked into anything.
