Eurail Question

Hey guys,

My itinerary is: Flight to Frankfurt (1 day stay), train to Rothenburg (2 days stay), train to Paris (3 days stay), train to Brussels (1 day stay) and train to Amsterdam (2 days stay).

Is it cheaper to buy seperate tickets over there or to buy the 10 days Eurail Select passes?

Also, is it true that Eurorail is not inclusive of all the tracks?

And, if i were to buy the passes, how do I get on to a train? Do i just hop in or do i need to do reservation for seats first?

Please assist. Thanks in advance.

The pass should cover all of the places that you mentioned.

You can reserve your seat ahead of time, like the day before at the actual train stations (that what I did) or just take a chance and hop on the train on your designated time.

If you are traveling in July and August, it's normally very busy during that time, so on your more popular routes, you may want to reserve ahead of time.
FYI, when you do reserve ahead of time, you will have to pay a few bucks to reserve your seat and for some taxes as well.

I don't know about a 10 day pass based on your itinerary. Maybe 5 or 6 day pass will do.

Good luck:cheers:!

Maybe do the "Benelux" pass..... And the train to Paris, if on a Thalys train, you HAVE to have a reservation..... All Thalys trains require a res. even with a pass.....
