I have been getting hounded to bring my bike to europe and ride but I dont know if I should. Are bikes easy to get around on the trains and ferries and stuff?

No drama on the ferries, I saw tons of peeps with them....trains...not to sure how it works...

we had the same problem, I'm not bringing my bike as there is no way i'm riding with my huge backpack on. Anywhere i would want to ride its easy to hire a bike for a few days or so and I'm sure that would be less that the hassles and cost of bringing a bike with me everywhere.
If you really want a bike perhaps buy a second hand one when you get there and then when you've had enough sell it.

I think looking at a used bike is a good idea.

Loki:

I don't know where you're from, but if you are flying to Europe from overseas it may be costly to have the bike flown with you as luggage or shipped.

I would call the airline first and see what they say if this is the case
