Default Train travel in UK without being a resident?

I'm trying to book (in advance) train tickets from London to Salisbury, and Salisbury to Bath. I've found a couple of sites like National Rail Enquiries and TheTrainLine, but it seems they all want an address in the UK to purchase tickets. Anyone know of a site that I can get tickets before I leave? I just don't want to have to deal with it when I get there.

Thanks

Where are you from? I can't say I've ever booked in advance from overseas. But the touch screen kiosks that most of the train stations are quick and easy.

If you're an American, a britrail pass may be cheaper. Even for those two trips, it could be cheaper.

If I were you though I would consider the National Express(bus/coach). Those distances are quite short, and the National Express is quite reliable.

I'm in the States... So you're saying I shouldn't worry about getting tickets until I get there? As long as it's easy and relatively painless and not too much more expensive, I won't worry about it.

We'll be coming from Paris to London Waterloo, and I'd like to go right from the station to Salisbury if at all possible, which is why I didn't take the bus option.
