Anyone used it before? How's the rail system through out Belgium and Netherlands? We've decided to stick around that area so are hoping the rail system is decent.

if you are going to be staying around there then its up to you (and probably a good idea!). but if you are travelling europe a lot, then probably not worth choosing benelux (in my opinion completely, and again totally dependant on your itenerary) but you can ride the trains, in and out of those countries to other countries at a discounted rate if you hold an eligible pass for either of those countries. you can get a discounted rate (i think its like 18$ canadian!) for going from a-dam to paris if you are eligible in france with your pass.

Thanks. We decided to stay in Belgium and Netherlands coz we kept finding places we wanted to go there. Anywhere else that was high on our list was on the other side of Germany, namely Berlin, Muich and Prague.

I hit Rick Steve's on saturday!

Yeah, pretty much the same places. Even checked with SAS to see if we could skip the jump flight from A-dam and meet them in Copenhagen for the flight out so we could go to Denmark too. No joy, $200 flight change. I've been recommended Milan too.
