Question Ryanair question before I book

I'm about to book a flight through RyanAir from Dublin to Paris for 3 € ( :D ). But when I'm going through the booking process it tells me that I have to choose how many bags i want to check in... and it adds 4.50€ for each bag you add... what is this?? aren't you allowed like 15kg of luggage and 10 in the bag you take with u to your seat?

I've also noticed that AerLingus shows you a chart of their sets, but I haven't seen an option to choose a seat on RyanAir does that come further down on the registration?

Oh, and one last very stupid but very real question... do they send you the tickets or do you print them in your computer??

Ryanair do now charge you extra for each bag you wish to place in the hold, pay for these in advance on the site because it costs twice as much if you pay at the check-in desk. Carry-on luggage is still free.

They do not issue seat numbers to people, you choose where you want to sit when you get on the plane.

And lastly, you print out the ticket from your computer and take it with you to the airport.

Hope that helps .

Every time I've flown with Ryan Air, no one was assigned a seat. It was always first come first serve. They don't send you a ticket, when you check-in they give you a 'ticket', which often is a plastic number.

I thought the same about luggage, but regulations may have changed? Be sure to be at the airport 30 min before departure, or they won't let you on the flight and you'll have to buy a new ticket!!

It's not glamorous, but you can't complain when getting a 3 Euro ticket!

Have a good, safe flight :D

A few LCC in europe are charging for luggage (cheap bastards), Ryan air, Flybe and bmibaby are the main airlines I think
