A travel agency on my campus is offering an incredible deal on Eurostar (Paris to London) tickets. Under "terms and conditions," it says "Non refundable. May be exchanged once before departure. Exchange must be performed in Europe."

This is stupid, but what does "may be exchanged once" mean? That I can trade my July 1st second class ticket for the same type of ticket but on a different day?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Daniel
I have no idea, i would guess you can't exchange it, or at least don't rely on doing so, without confirming with the shop.

Well, thats a hard one I think...I have not traveled Eurostar, so I do not even wanna guess...BUT...I would say email them and ask for the conditions to be clarified for you. I hope someone else here knows more for ya!

I agree that I wouldn't rely on being able to trust exchanging it... especially if it's a great deal... they tend to be extremely restrictive I'm currently living in England I'll see if I can find the answer today while I'm at work... I apologize in advance if I actually don't figure it out or get a chance to.

oh and P.S.

WAHOO CANADIANS IN DA HOUSE!! tee hee I'm such a nerd.

Welcome to the boards danieldale!!!

It probably means that you can exchange the type of Eurostar ticket from class to date, etc, so long as you respect the timeframe.

But the best option is to ask the travel agency itself.
