Writing this from an internet kiosk in the beautiful San Jose airport. Overpriced, yes, but I'm bored. And I'm bored because my flight's been delayed two hours. La la la. I could still be hanging out at my parents' house where I've been the past two weeks, but I neglected to check my flight status before leaving for the airport. Anybody else hate doing that? I can't be bothered to find the phone numbers for that, and half the time I don't even know what my flight number is. Usually it's fine. Tonight I'm stuck here, writing to you guys, about boredom in the airport.

The San Jose Airport I believe she is talking about is about an hour south of San Francisco. I've been delayed in SanJo for a couple hours before, it sucks. And it was after I passed thru security and there was no bar!
I guess she had to pass through security again after drinking the seven dollar beer, then. I do understand about never getting around to calling to check on flight statuses. A tip: you can check flight statuses over text messages these days. Text the airline + the flight number to 4info (44636) and they'll text the status back to you in seconds. That actually did save me once from going to the airport too early when my flight was delayed.
Seven dollar beer is way too familiar. They know they've got a captive crowd and can charge almost anything they want.
