Planning on departing from NJ, or NY if necessary... where usually is the most economically sound place to travel to by air, then start the trip from. I'm pretty open as to where to begin my journey...
Are we talking about a trip to Europe? cause if so London, Paris, Adam, are all good places to land... London has a huge airport (heathrow) and a couple smaller ones around the city (Gatwick and Stansted) so there's lots of charter flights... and then it's just a train ride away from Paris and the rest of the continent!

Statisticly I think that Amsterdam has some of the Cheapest Flights you might also want to look into rome for just a bit more as a GREAT starting point.
