My boyfriend’s looking into flights to London on Zoom. He wants to know the difference between economy and premium seats on that airline, cuz he’s a pretty big guy and he’s not really looking forward to the long flight. Anyone know? If it’s not worth it than Air Canada should suffice. |

From the horse's mouth, so to speak. Premium is a pretty good chunk of change, but that increased leg room, free booze, and all is worth it. Plus you get a bit more baggage allowed... |
If I could afford it, I'd ONLY fly premium.

Primarily, you don't have to sit next to a screaming kid most of the time (worth its weight on a longer flight), you don't have a stinky mofo that literally just finished sheetrocking an apartment complex next to you, and you can afford to have a superior attitude with regards to the unwashed masses back in coach. :D The downside: First class doesn't get there any faster than coach. :D |

I've flown Zoom a bunch of times and see larger guys in the normal seats all teh time... perhaps just ensure that he picks an isle seat so at least one leg can stretch out!

here's the difference!!!! I just got an email from them to upgrade to premium for $50 CAN for my trip to Paris (on the way there only) but the last seat they had was on the last row and the inclination is limited so i'm not that interested anymore but anyway here's the email:
Economy Premium 31" seat pitch 1 meal with choice of red or white wine & 1 snack included Free soft drinks throughout flight 20 kg baggage allowance 36" Seat Pitch Selection of your seat number Complimentary alcoholic drinks Choice of meal and 1 snack Increased baggage allowance (30Kg) Priority baggage delivery Complimentary headsets Dedicated check in & reduced check in time (90 mins prior to departure) |
