hi all, i'm (duh) new. Anyway here I am, all are welcome to cut me up.  I'm being blinded by the flash in this pic.
Anyway, I've been reading posts for a while, this is my first writing attempt. Awesome!!!! so...yeah. i checked out the member pics too, you guys are pretty. am i the only one who thinks thecross is sexy? hehe ok, later.

no, you're not the only one. there are a few cross fans on board. i actually think there's something alluring about him... i swear it had something to do with a post he made in the s.w.b. forum. but i have some personal favorites anyway, as you all well know.

it's not a "come hither" look, more of a "you're blinding me" look, but thanks. at least now i know i'm attractive to backpack-y guys....maybe i do have a chance with the guy at the backpack-y stuff store.
as you can see i've mastered the terminology. you're all really nice (all you guys), i'm kinda shy.

Scarlotte, you painted that?  wow, very cool. i bet we have a lot in common, i love the cure. Is the Dorian in your name ahve something to do with oscar wilde? my sister is getting her graduate degree or whatever in his studies. where are you from?

the dorian is a name that my grandmother used to paint under..an alias of sorts. she pretty much gave me my love for painting and art in general. i live in chicago but was born in montana...well, i've pretty much lived everywhere in the united states. where are you from? something else i think we have in common that i noticed from your posts...camping. you'll have to let me know what camping in europe is like.

Wilde isn't my cup of tea, but i know way too much about him because of my aforementioned sister. Studying someone like that to me just seems like an excuse not to do something inspiring yourself. Scarlotte you should make a post with pictures of some of your paintings and art. I bet you're good. I like photography.
I'm from kentucky, it's a bad place to be. Kentucky sucks, don't go here. most of my life has just re-enforced all the stereotypes about the south you see on tv and in movies.
I haven't camped much in my life, just a couple times, but i think europe would be good place to start.
As for where I live, college is on the horizon, and for me the horizon is in Portland, Oregon.

kentucky eh? i heard there is supposed to be a liebowski (not sure i spelt that right) festival in louiville kentucky (you know, inspired by the movie the big liebowski. i love that movie). that make kentucky kewl in my book.
portland oregon that's where i'm heading in about a year. i'm looking to go to school there also for a environmental studies. what are you planning to go to school for and why portland?
oh thanx for the compliments i my painting. it'd be kewl to start a forum for anyone here that's an artist to show off their work. what do you say guys?
