Howdy,

I am moving these pics from another part of the forum at the suggestion of a fellow traveller. They got kinda buried so I will put them here for you all to see.

These were taken on two separate trips in Yoesemite National Park, California this Summer.
Enjoy,

Paulo

Below is the almost dormant Yosemite Falls, also this August. In the spring, the area that I was standing to take the picture would be full of water, rushing to the valley floor via a 2600+ foot drop.

Right above is myself blocking an otherwise beautiful panorama of the vally floor.

Thanks, I took them with my digital camera. Although, I resized and compressed them to make them easier to load, so they aren't as defined as the originals. I feel that these pictures help to illustrate how varied and beautiful California is. I will be posting more from my own area if y'all like.

Now those are stellar pictures !

I have been in LA for 8 years, but shamefully never ventured up to Yosemite. I will make it a point to do so in the near future as I know that it is truly a nature lovers paradise .

Good call on moving them on over
