Well folks, as some of you (maybe?) might have noticed, I haven't been around much recently. I had exams until the 12th, then on the 13th I flew out to Portland Oregon to visit my best friend. The night of the 16th I flew overnight to NJ where the insanity began: 2 days of general admission for U2 at the Meadowlands. Attempting to keep this brief, here are the highlights:

1) meeting Bono, him holding my hand while we talked for a minute
2) getting Edge's autograph
3) getting a pic with Adam (which I don't have b/c some idiot couldn't even work his own camera right)
4) my ticket randomly scanning to let me into the ellipse the first night and being the CLOSEST person to Edge in the entire arena
5) every member of the band seeing my sign and laughing and Bono acknowledging it....then people coming up to me after saying "we saw Bono acknowledge your sign" (but it didn't get me onstage damnit....well there's always more shows in Nov!!! I WILL get onstage

Yes my U2 luck was very good. I am now in serious withdrawal.

Ok enough writing I suppose. Here are some of the best pics:

Thanks all......yeah I still can't believe it. I am planning my mode of attack (yikes that sounds bad) for the Nov. shows....in SERIOUS withdrawal. I WILL get a pic with Bono, an autograph, and get onstage!!!!!

I keep listening to the song they played right before then went onstage (Wake Up-Arcade Fire.....awesome song!) and remembering how I felt, and looking at my pictures. God I'm lame and I should be packing for Argentina. I leave on Wed.
