Alright, so I just spent the weekend in one of our national treasures - Yosemite National Park.. Absolutely beautiful place, any time of year. I've put the obvious picture inline with this message, the rest you can click on. I'd hate for someone w/ a slow connection to choke on this page.
http://tavallai.com/gallery/album/yo...or_lake_tp.jpg The misty, verdant base of Bridalveil Falls Iconic El Capitan, Ansel Adams style. Sorta. A freaky-looking tree, low to the ground. The even more iconic Half Dome. Lower Yosemite Falls, a la Ansel. LoYoFalls in glorious color. Some TravelPunk nutjob on Mirror Lake. I freaked some people out by walking right up to the wildlife to snap a pic... I dunno about you, but i NEVER see living moss on trees in the snow. Upper AND Lower Yosemite Falls. The Yosemite Valley - only a small portion of the whole park, but arguably the most traveled to. |

Oz - it's in central California, about a 4-hour drive southeast from San Francisco, roughly a similar distance northeast from Los Angeles. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the West Coast!
