What an adorable pup, Steve!!!!!!! Louie-- gotta love the name, man!
But as someone who has been around a lot of pit bulls and terriers in general... Start putting your shoes, socks, and anything else even remotely chewable-- even shit you don't think is chewable-- in drawers or up high or behind closed doors, man.
My friend had a pit bull / chesapeake bay retriever cross that ate EVERYTHING. Including videotapes-- a couple of which were for one of her college classes. So, yeah, she had to tell her prof that her dog ate her homework.

Congrats bgrotha, that pup is wiocked sute!
Aw ord of advise now before you find out for yourself...either a spare tire or a toy from the Kong Company are going to survive the wraith of this little brute when its older, like 6 months older. I recommend the Extream Kong, I have a Stafforshire Bull Terrier and thats what he has grown old playing with. NOTHING else could stand up to with rough housing.

I will second the Kong idea from C-dude. My buddy has a beagle that just loves to chew on things and the Kong has kept him busy for several months now. Not that Beagles are known for wild stuff, but he happens to be quite the chewer.

Thanks for the advice everyone!
Jeanie - He's actually already make short work of one of my socks. He was sleeping on it and it looked cute so I left it. I think he was just waiting for me to leave him alone.
CD - I saw the pic of your pup on the pets thread a while back, very nice looking bully!!
Sij & CD, I was actually looking at the Kongs when I was at Petsmart the other day. I'll have to pick one up the next time I'm there! Thanks guys!
Roz - I've wanted a pitbull my whole life. I've always loved the breed, but I had an Akita...up until a few years ago

what a cute pup!
a peanut butter filled kong is gonna be your best friend when that little guy gets into his munching phase.
try some pigs ears too.
my 5 month old pup loves them.

Yep, those are great. And when that isn't taking him as much time to destroy, and believe me he will figure it out sooner or later, try putting the peanut butter-filled toy in the freezer. It's pretty funny.

Yeah, that was me. I'm not sure what it means right now...
I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind taking care of him for a few months if I took off
Actually they would probably flip out, so I guess I have a few more things to look at now
