Testing...
It says the max upload size is 153600 bytes and this pic is 30000 bytes (30 KB).
Also, you can't re-enlarge a pic and "regain" the resolution. Maybe you should first convert the .psd to a .jpg full-size and THEN shrink it to size (if you didn't try that yet)?

oh no! voyd! that map started a political listserv war here at the law school......I seriously hate most of the anal political spouting people around here! Sometimes I wonder why I am here!!! Who in their right mind would think 700 strangers really wanting you clogging their inbox CONSTANTLY FOR OVER A WEEK because you need to inform the world what you think!!! :greenguy:
Ok, sorry had to vent about that......

^ Lauren, honey, I hate to tell you this... but you're at LAW SCHOOL. Politics discussion would be a foregone conclusion, I would think... But I understand your hating the spouting anyway.

U2fan - Lol, sorry. It's just the only random pic I had handy. What law school do you go to? But if you don't like politics, I think you're in the wrong major? What'd you expect?!
I do kinda stay out of those huge bipolar debates though - just cuz I've heard most all the tired rhetoric already. So, they're no longer that interesting to me. As far as endless wedge issues go - it's right up there with abortion, religion, etc etc. Plus, I realize what a minority peon influence I have as a 3rd Party Indy, so any real change is at least a generation away...

Ha, I guess it is pretty funny. I think I sort of got burned out when I was a poli sci major in undergraduate. I agree with you Voyd, it's same old same old when the stuff gets brought up. But I don't plan to go into politics, I just want to be an international lawyer somewhere! I'm here at U of GA....I wish I were closer to some of the meet ups!!

Hmmm...kiss up to a Delta employee and have them give you buddy passes? Or -- if you're feeling real brave -- fly AirTran? After they put their one plane in the Everglades (as Valuejet), though, and still insist on using temporary contract help (not permanent employees), I won't fly them...
Oh, and Tecia, you DO know that to be able to convert a file from psd to jpg you usually have to choose "Flatten Image" in photoshop, right?

Getting this back on track...
1) Open .PSD file in Photoshop
2) Make adjustments, corrections, etc.
3) From "Image" menu, select "Image size"
4) In Image size dialog, set to something reasonable (i.e. 480 pixels wide) and 72 pixels/inch
5) From "File" menu, select "Save for web"
6) In Save for Web dialog, choose JPEG and play with the settings until the picture looks good but has the smallest file size possible.
Then upload your photo and share!
