Got bored last night so I experimented with some henna and different sparkly pastes. This dragon is with the henna paste STILL ON, which is why it looks black (and also why it's smeared in some places-- sue me, I'm impatient.) The color is sparkly glue, lol. The whole thing took about an hour, about 20 minutes of which was fixing various booboos. I used a pastry cone and the smallest cake decorating tip available.

nice calves, babe!

That looks bad-ass! Will the sparkly glue stay on as long as the henna is visible?
thanks joan! :kisscheek: too bad you can't see more of the super-cute red patent leather high-heel mary jane's I was wearing.
omisan-- the glue only lasts as long as the henna *paste* is on. It's just like if you put elmer's glue on your skin and let it dry-- it'll stick but at some point it will come off, usually within a day. I can go back and decorate the stained design with the sparkly glue. It's really only good for one day, and by that I mean about 8 hours if you baby it. I slept with it on last night and most of it made it but a lot didn't. I have sparkles all over my bed now, lol. |
Wow, that looks awesome! It only took you an hour? Very fun for a night out. :)
Very beautiful SV! I wanted one on my back! :)
yeah, as the pic was loading and i scrolled down, i hoped for a better look at those lovelies. i just adore mary janes.

The dragon looks hot! Hell. had I not enough tatoo's/artistry (is that a word???) LOL) I'd be all over that. Looks so nice.
Woaa, did you freehand that?
yes, I freehand everything, but I was looking at a drawing of a dragon when I did it, so it's not like I made it up out of thin air. Some things I can do that with but with a complicated thing like a dragon I need a little more help. :)
