hi all... i was wondering if any of you knew of any towns or cities that had a lot of bars or resturaunts that would be easy to get an under-the-table type job at. I know that Dingle Ireland has something like 50 bars and 1,500 residents - easy employment it seems- can anyone thing of any other places that have a situation like that? I know that the best bet would probably be within the large european cities and I plan on asking around in most of the cities I will visit, but i figured i'd see of you guys had any suggestions. thanks
Edinburgh, Scotland and San Sebastian, Spain both have an incredible amount of bars per people. I know one of these towns claim to have the most bars per square meter and the other has the most bars per people.
gracias on the quick response skid... i love Edinburgh, it was my favorite city in the British Isles. everything about it was amazing. however, i was there in July last time and i am going to be looking for work in October/November this year so methinks that San Sebastian sounds much more appealing. plus, i really do want to "do" Spain... any other ideas would still be pondered though
I dont know where else your going however if your gonna be in Geramny go to frankfurt and visit a little corner of town called saxonhausen, its really hard to find as it is tucked away but the locals will point it out. What it is if you havnt herd of it already is a little area about 1 km sq. that is full of just pubs. One after the other. Thats all it is there must be over 100 of them in this area. its a huge party place weekends. check it out
