Well folks, as some of you may know, my brothers, sister and I have formed a business corporation here in the Dominican Republic. So far we have purchased four 1 bedroom condos, which will be used as vacation rentals. Well...I will be living in one of them, but the other three will be rented out.
I just got my website up and running, it is actually the first draft of it and I wanted to post the site address for you guys to check out. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on making it better, please don't hesitate to send me a pm with your thoughts.
Sosua Vacation Rentals
The pictures were just taken, but I am in redecoration mode and new pictures will be posted as soon as they are complete. I have some painting to do and new curtains and bedspreads to buy, couches to recover, kitchen cabinets to update...A lot is going to be done in hopefully a short amount of time.
Wish me luck guys!

Very nice - simple, to the point, easy to navigate.
So, will you have hired maid service or will you do that?

Congrats! I would put DOMINICAN REPUBLIC somewhere up top on the header, though. And maybe a small town map somewhere too.

Overall it looks good (and the rates are pretty decent, even in season!)
I'd do a couple of shots on the front page, (view, exterior, key feature) and in the contact info, I'd have a couple options, "Call us", web form (like you have, though I'd request a contact phone and good time to call), and an email link (mailto:blahblahblah@blah.com) for those of us that prefer to use our own email programs and signature... (has the added bonus of giving you their correct email address)
good luck!

Congrats! Sweet!
Hrrmmm, does this mean us TPunks now have an offshore company to launder our drug money though? Not that any of us do anything like that...
If you want an idea of what info might be important to users of a vacation rental web page, try modeling off of this, at least in terms of information layout:

Thanks for your input guys! When I get the painting and redecorating done I will be adding more pictures, but for now I just wanted it to be pretty simple.
As of right now, for SOME reason, the webform isnt even working. I have sent a couple emails using the contact us web form...but I haven't gotten any yet, so there might be something wrong with it. I will be adding my email address as well, but I am going to steer clear from putting my phone number on it because I have been told from others in the same business that people will literally call you at obscene hours to ask very simple questions that quite easily can wait for an answer via email.
And Omi...of course, this is a perfect little outfit to launder all the Tpunk Drug money through. Why do you think I opened a business in the Dominican? For fun? Investments? Not so much. DRUG MONEY BABY!

Mmm.. the HTML in the web form is all jacked up.
You have it using the POST method via a form app hosted by Yahoo, but the action on the button does a mailto: to your email address. It should be one or the other...
Try changing the following:
<a href="mailto:sosuavacationrentals@yahoo.com">
<input type="submit" value="Send"></a>
to simply
<input type="submit" value="Send">
and see what that does. Good luck!

I like the page Brooke. It is quick, easy and has everything on it you need. You want it to be basic for people (like older people) that are not going to want to jump through hoops to get what they need.
Good Luck.
