I am going to america and I have read up on these discount cards, I will be 21 so I read about the under 26 youth card which sounded great but didnt look like it could be used outside the uk, and the same with isic card dosent look like it can be used out side of europe. dispite both beign advertised in teh rough guide book to america.

Anyone got these and are they able to be used in USA, if so did they come in handy/ what sort of places accepted??

I don't think you really will use them in the US like you can in Europe. All you need in the US is a student ID card, like from your school
