Well written and informative. I couldn't help but thinking of some salesman for an MLM or something by some of the wording though.

I've been on the sales floor for waaaay too long ...not to mention lots of MLM meetings. Although I am not involved in a Multi Level Marketing company, I would recommend it for anyone interested in learning how to run a business.

Thanks, Lauren , but I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nut. Sooo much to learn still .

Great job, Jake! There's definitely no substitution for hard work .

If that was G-Rated Omi , try some Nyquil or read the Bible. That'll put you to sleep .

Good job, everyone !

Toss in the same amount each day as half the price of a venti frappacino at Starbucks, and you'll have $1,000 a year from now (except in the cases of Beth and Tecia, who get those for free !).

I put £1.49 in my giant beer bottle today my Tpunk camping trip fund is looking pretty heavy, but my Tourope fund is looking pretty slim...

This is such a great Idea tony!! It works. I had a sock all summer and stuck my tip money in there. That sock paid for my 10 day trip to europe that I just came back from yesterday.

But....I want to travel again obviously. So in honour of this post I'm putting $5 in a my sock. haha hilarious..A girl never stops travelling for long I guess. less then 24 hours since returning I'm thinking about my next trip!

Don't touch your boxes ppl. Seriously think of it as non-existent. I just forgot about my sock. It was out of the question to touch it at all.

Goodluck everyone!

That is true though about a girl (or a guy!!) not being able to take much of a break from traveling for too long!

I put some more coins away today. My "non-extistant" travel fund.
This could be the fund for the big camping trip!

I opened a savings account yesterday...$20 bucks. No interest or anything but its free and I have somewhere to put my money.

Alas I am duct taping a shoe box later this evening. Gotta save for the camping trip and Mexico! Arrrriba!

And in the middle of the day too...for shame

Tony, you should start a financial forum. It might not get a lot of traffic, but financial freedom is a huge part of having the ultimate travelling lifestyle. Like you were saying leveraging is the way to go if you want to get heavy into realm estate investment. If done right, you can buy property with loan money, then borrow again against that property once you have it and use the rent to cover your loan payments while you keep doing the same thing. Its somewhat risky but if you know what youre doing youre rich before you know it. My eventual goal is to invest heavily in real estate, being a lawyer is just a means to get there.

Nahhh....I am only doing it once a day with a minimum of $1 plus. Occasionally, I will throw $10's and $20's here and there. It is important to remember that you make a habit out of it and that you have a separate fund for your other savings.

Don't over do it, as you'll probably end up tapping into it...and that's not good :greenguy: .

I have been wanting to! I am constantly learning on how I can better prepare myself for the future, as my unlitmate goal (in addition to travelling, film production, and providing for my future family ) will be to give back to the community, charitable organizations, worthy causes, etc...

I live and breathe real estate these days, and have learned so much that I can't help but share it too, as well as learn more.

I'm happy to hear that I've got some company in the real estate spectrum! I'm a firm believer, that if you really want to achieve your goals, it is imperative that you surround yourselve's with like minded people (ie...us Batcavers!).

Keep your eyes on the prize, Tpunks !

A year from now, EVERYONE who participates in this should have roughly 365 replies to this thread.

That means that you'll have roughly $365-$1,000 or more, depending what your average contributions come out to.

C'mon punks !
