Question for those who've been there recently...how much for meals and basic transportation? Thanks a bunch.

My friends just reported to me after getting back a few nights ago...

Basic meal (i.e. at a soda): $3-5
Restaurant meal (sit-down): $5-12
Buses: $1-5
Private Transport: $15-40
Attractions (museums, parks, etc.): $6-10
Tours: way too much
Car rental: way too much

Thanks, Omisan. That doesn't sound too bad, hopefully the tours are worth every penny.

Not too bad, sounds about the same as the US. I'll be there in mid-June!
