There is a way to save a large amount of money on travel. What time of year do the most people travel? SUMMER of course, prices everywhere are more expensive, from hostles to hotels to attractions, they all increase thier rates during the summer months June July and Aug.
If you can swing it, plan your adventure away from those months, you could end up saving huge $$$, not to mention line ups and no vacancies.
This is a pretty basic tip, but may come in handy when your on a shoe string budget...or my phrase of the day " A T-PUNK BUDGET"
