Each year during Culture Week -- which this year runs from May 12 to 20 -- entrance is free to Italy's state-owned monuments, museums and archeological sites. In Rome, that includes dozens of top-notch attractions like the Colosseum and the Palatine, and museums with important art collections, like the Palazzo Barberini, the Palazzo Borghese or the Modern and the Contemporary Art Galleries

OMG I am going to Rome tomorrow. So great to know this. Hope its not too crowded!!
