Hello again. Originally I wanted to take a laptop on my 6 wk. trip so I could upload all my pictures from my digital camera and write "journal" entrys on an online site so friends and family could see and read what I'm doing. But after reading more helpful advice and experience on this wonderful website
I've decided that maybe a laptop wouldn't be such a good idea--- probably the first thing to go if I were targeted by a theif. So my question is, can you upload pictures from a digital camera to any computer? I thought that you needed camera-specific software installed on the computer to do that... Of course I could very well be wrong
. Do most digital camera's come with a cord adapter that will plug into any computer? Who out there has tried to do this same thing (online travel journal/pics), and how did you do it? Thanks!!
