Hey Everyone,
I am going to set up a web site about my son for my family, I was going to go with a free web site service like Freewebs.com. Can anyone reccomend a better free web site service??? Also, if I was to register for a pay website, is it hard to create a basic web site, is it expencive and where would be a safe company to register with??
Thanks for your help everyone!!

I don't know man this sounds like a scam to me.... Mods????
hehehe Just kidding, sounds like a cool Idea. I'm not really a fan of free websites cause they have so many banner ads and you have no custom name. I think that I would check out go daddy they have some sites for like 3.99/ month with free domain registry but no emails I think I would be more apt to do that.

I'm using Interland and it's so simple to set up a site. I really like it it. It's only $10 a month.

I use freewebs.com. You're supposed to put a code on your page but I've never had it on mine. And even then it's at the bottom.

I like using geocities - a lot of people say they don't like them, but I find it quick and easy, and you have the option to upgrade to a paid account at anytime. You also get a good amount of space, and if you do run out, hell, just open another one!

My mom uses Yahoo for here dog rescue orginization. Pays about $20 a month, But I know they have cheaper ones avalible. She also told me it was easy to set up, they have a "site builder", and templets to use.

You could also try MSN Spaces... so, okay, you dont start from scratch, but you can pretty much make the site into whatever you want, loads of colours and scenes to make it personal, you can choose what tags to keep and in what order you want things. I use it a lot and its so simple and free!! And you dont have a space limit either.
Edited due to my terrible typing...
