you need to upload a picture to another site. even though it gives you the option to upload.. it does not work so you need to host the picture on another site copy the url of the picture and past it in the first box under custom avatar. then set the size no larger than 64x64
if this dosn't work...then your screwed

Go to www.photobucket.com and set up an account. Assuming you have a digital picture on your computer you want to use as your avatar; when you get account set up, there is a thing that says "upload pictures/photos" click browse, then search for the file you want. Then upload it. It will appear with three links: one url, one tag and one img. Copy and paste the url into the photo avatar thing here (if it's not the url link, its the img - haven't done it in a little while ). That should do 'er.

Oh yeah and if you want to use an image that isn't on your computer (one from the net) then copy the link to that picture into the avatar thing. I'm not advocating using pics without permimssion

Yea, you have to upload it to any (other) website and then copy its web address into the field in your avatar settings, if you continue to have problems PM me and I can upload it for you.
