Photobucket and Sony digital camera uploading - TravelPUNK Backpacker College Student Budget Travel Message Boards!

I am really starting to annoy myself. Why is it that every time I upload something into Photobucket in a certain order, by the time the pictures get in there, they are backwards? And why is it so ass difficult to move the pics into the correct order?
Tips anyone?

Also, I think I may be doing something wrong when I upload my pics onto my computer. I have a Sony digital camera, so I use a memory stick. Basically every time I connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable and put the pictures onto the harddrive, my pictures erase off of the memory stick! I don't want them to do that!! Does anyone know why this is and how I can stop it from doing that?

Upload them backwards from the order you want them to go in. UNLESS you want to change the size of some of them, because (in photobucket) the pic you re-sized will go up to the beginning.

Before you upload them make sure they're the size you want them to be, it's just a lot easier that way.

The order is not affected by adding commentary to the pics though.

Oh, and when you're uploading the pics to your computer, there is probably an option somewhere that's clicked to erase them when you upload. Are you using iPhoto, by any chance? Mine did that a few times did I changed the settings to import pics.

If you're not using iPhoto, there should still be a settings tab somewhere to fix that.

Thanks buddy. I will have to take a look at the way I am importing. I'm not using IPhoto...I just put them into my computer (I don't even know what the program is called!)

But I started to upload into photobucket backwards...makes sense. I do everything ass backwards anyway!

haha...smoother men have attempted to get their paws on my "boudoir photos" Omi....and failed! Although, one or two have attempted and succeeded....

Anyway, I got them all up on photobucket and will have to remember from now on to just upload them in backwards order.

These are the boudoir photos now???? Where again on photobucket did you say they were?

I know if your using Microsofts Picture program to take the images off your camera, which sounds like it might be the case if your just using whatever pops up, then there is a checkbox for removing pictures after uploaded. That sounds like the option you need to take a look for.
