It's late, i've been at work for 11.5 hrs, i'm dead tired, and my computer just decided it would be amusing to crash on me #@$%#$%# I just lost my last 2 hours work!!!! :greenguy:
Damn crap fucker shit face!!!!
Anyone else have stories of asshole computers doing asshole things?? I've heard a lot of stories about computers crashing the day before assignments were due but always thought they were just excuses to get an extra day or two to do the assignments, i probably used that one myself on more than one occasion when i was at uni. But now i think maybe not everyone was lieing when they said that.
Ahh, i feel better now, just had to vent, time for a cuppa i think, then back into it.

I think computers are sexy as hell.
And guys who can fix computers are even sexier! (Especially if it is over the phone!)

i basically had no use for my computer for 3 months since A) it didnt have a mouse, and B) when i tried to get on Explorer, it never worked. later this guy came and checked it out and said that some SpyWare that i had deleted had set up a few trojans on my computer a one was to block my use of the internet.
not exactly my computer crashing but i couldnt use my computer for MONTHS!! do you know how painful that was for me?!?!?!?!

computers are great things but they can piss the liveing hell out of me too. a had a computer acting up one time so i formated it to teach it a lesson. after a few hours of puting the driviers and firefox back on it, it goes off at gets it self three trojans and 2 back door virius and over 1000 spy ware in the matter of 1 min from a site like crack spider warez (i was finding a keygen) , or a mixture of those words so way or another. seeing as how this was a computer in a network of "innsocent" computers(not on the internet)(this is the only one of them with internet access)(i did not want to risk the others) so it was reformation for the little crap computer agian.

All of this is just making me love my Mac even more.
Although I have a p.o.s. Pentium II at work running... wait for it...

...... Windows 98. There, I said it. Yes, it sucks. No, the boss won't spring for an upgrade because in his mind it's a waste of money (he is not known for being tech savvy-- I've had to remind him I-don't-know-how-many-times how to check his voice mail on his new cell phone. I get by though, and at least I can still skulk around travelpunk all day.

My computer has angered me here and there. I get good ones like it freezes and won't restart so I have to pull the power cable off the motherboard to reset it. But most of the time its a good computer. I punched it once though, it deserved it.

I periodically have to restart my computer from time to time, and I've gotten in the habit of saving anything important...
I've also realized one thing; If I owned a car that was as reliable as my computer, I'd have abandoned it by the side of the road and bought a horse years ago!
