Anyone have a suggestion of a cell phone and cell phone plan for Europe that I can call Canada and within Europe. I know most people use phon ecards but I was wondering about a cell phone. Also do the same phone works in UK and the rest of Europe?
If you can't use yours, you could always go with a prepay mobile phone, you can get it a mobile phone shop, or an electronics store...might run ya 80$ or so..maybe less even...I did that in OZ and it was pretty handy!
If you do get a mobile phone, make sure you get the so called 'bar' removed from it. You have to ring up and ask to get it de-barred. So that you can use it in different countires. Otherwise, when your travelling from one country to another, you just won't be able to use it.
Personally, I'd get a phone card. Each country has different ones. I use them when I go abroad in Eurpoe. Much cheaper.
