Cell Service
Ok Kids,
Just wondering who everyone has their cellular service with. I've been with Sprint/Nextel for 3 or so years but they are becoming tiresome so I am contemplating switching it up. Who's everyone got?

I have Tmobile and my reception is good but I had to get a new phone cause my other was dropping calls like non stop.
I Pay like 60 a month for 1000 minutes, free US/ Canada long distance, and unlimited texts.
I need to call them and get details about using it in Europe tho.

Cingular/AT&T. I like it, get pretty good service everywhere, isn't too expensive.

kind of excited... just ordered a new Samsung BlackJack phone and will be switching over to AT&T aka Cingular. I know that it will cost me a bit extra with the Sprint termination fees and whatnot but it will be super duper nice to have basically a mini laptop with when I am jetsetting all over the country... Now to get my airline job back!

I'm on T-Mobile and it's shiiiiiiiiiiit. My contract doesn't run out til January though, so I'm stuck with it. If I'm in my building, I get one bar of reception if I stand by the window. If I'm in uni buildings, I get no reception whatsoever. If I'm at my parent's house, I get reception whenever it feels like it.
I might just go and live in a field, then I can use my phone without having to shout "nope... nope... can't hear you any more".
You've touched a nerve Jake!

I'm with Verizon.
I've not had any problems with them. When I was in Tennessee - WAY out in the boondocks - I didn't have any problem getting a signal. My sister, who had Sprint & my brother, who has T-Mobile both had problems.

Jake, I'm on AT&T too, and I just got the BlackJack! To be honest I don't know half of what it does yet, but hopefully the organizer features will help me be more... organized.
I always forgot to freeze my service when I was out of the country, so I now have thousands of rollover minutes. That's the good thing about Cingular. Also, it's not the cheapest, but coverage is excellent. Even when I was traveling, I picked up signal everywhere-- just didn't feel like paying $2/min to use it unless I had to.

I have vodafone, never had any problems with reception anywhere I've been with it. It has full reception even when other companys have very little (in Ireland).

I've been an AT&T/Cingular customer since like 2001 and seriously they are the best. I was with Verizon for a bit and they sucked. But yeah, rock on with the AT&T. Those BlackJacks are awesome too because I almost bought one when I was home but opted for the BlackBerry Curve (seriously the coolest thing I have ever owned). What rocks about AT&T is, you get service ANYWHERE. I have traveled to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakstan (sp?), Tajikistan (and pretty much anything that ends in -istan), plus Kuwait and Qatar and have had service the entire time. I have the international plan on my phone and not every country is covered, but pretty much all of them, which rules.

very rad. I am loving the blackjack. It is going to make standby travel like I do sooo much easier. Now when I get stuck someplace with no flight out I won't have to call my mom to have her check stuff online, I can do it myself with my mini-laptop-cum-cell-phone!

I am on AT&T as well. I currently have a Treo but am planning on picking up a Blackberry Curve in the next few days. AT&T is the best for global roaming. Rock on!

you will not be disappointed by the blackberry curve. make sure you spurge the extra 40 bucks and get the 2gb memory card to go in it too, you can put a lot of pictures or music on there. the camera on the phone is actually really good... you can do a lot of different stuff with it
