That sounds, uhhh, really glamorous.
Aren't there more appealing, people-oriented jobs in Europe? Unless, of course, you really enjoy washing/detailing cars - it's a good skill - but never one I ever considered using beyond my own car.

In many years with a large deal of random thoughts and ideas, this is one I've never heard of nor considered.
Good luck in your searches.

Hey guys
Thanks for input
Yes,I really enjoy car valeting/washing/detailing/polishing etc.
For example I`ve been working for 7 years as car valeter on a self employment base.
Car wash job is more than some sexy half-naked wet-shampoo girls.
Not too glamorous(working with water&co is not so great how it sounds) but I got used
to it and ...I love cars, clean and shiny ones.
Anyway,I`d like to read different opinions because I really enjoy my work.

Is it just me, or does this thread make anyone else want to burst into song?
"At the car wash, woah woah woah oh, at the car wash, yeah!"
Anyway, sorry about that. I have no experience whatsoever. I can't even remember the last time I washed my own car. But good luck!

It would be a preaty good job I worked in a service station where we did hand washes and the tips where great. I'd assume the best place to look is along the coasts where Europeans would have their holiday homes. They would have their own cars and would probably want to have them washed when they come over on their holiday. They can't use the automatic washers because alot of them would have convertables and they should give good tips seeing as they can aford holiday homes and convertibles.

Hey MeTurk thanks for being the first who gave me a pozitive thing.
Yes,I actually was thinking of Spain coasts(Blanca, del Sol etc) or perhaps Italy or Greece.Given the fact I am able to understand basic Spanish and a little more Italian it
should be fine.MeTurk,if I may ask, where have you worked in a service station,country-region I mean?

It was in Ireland in the next town over from my own. The station got taken over by a different company and they decided to dump the hand wash section though so now everyone in the county that has a fancy car has to travel to Galway city to wash their cars some days you see ques of cars out the road.

There are all sorts of jobs out there; whatever floats your boat! If you can base yourself in a place you want to be, doing something you want to do, more power to you!
Good luck!

I worked in a bikini carwash in Sydney for a couple days. The tips were good but the customers disgusting, haha.
In some larger cities in Europe you see gypsies washing windshields at traffic lights to make money. Most people don't really appreciate it though.
Sorry for being absolutely no help :P good luck though
