I come from the land of microbrews so I am a big fan of them.... hefeweizen, rogue's dead guy, etc.

I also enjoy vodka tonic, AMF (two will knock you on your ass! ). A new drink I just tried is an irish car bomb (at least that it is what it is called in Oregon). Drop a shot of 1/2 baileys 1/2 whiskey into a guiness and chug away. That is one way to get the night started!

Rogue makes some awesome beer!! I like the Dead Guy Ale. I had some other beer by them in SF at a Rogue Ale House. A variation on the Irish Car Bomb is the Belfast Car Bomb which is straight Jamesons in the shot glass (no Bailey's). Other good beer is Smithwicks (Irish Ale) Beamish Stout. Yum.

I'll have to give the beamish stout a try (not tonight though, I am still hurting from last night/having to be at work at 7:45 ). Note to self: just because the beer at the ballgame is only 2 dollars doesn't mean you have to double fist it all night!

AAA baseball team: Portland Beavers. Every Thursday, $2 beers. If you are ever in the area we could hit it up!

It's all about Yeungling and the Killians, even though any beer will do

I don't know if all you heard of Yuengling since its just starting to become popular over the past year or so even though its the oldest working brewery in the US

also car bombs and Dr.Pepper shots are AMAZING

Vodka and Coke, Pina Colada, Jack Daniels' Watermelon Spike/Fruit Punch and Vodka and Club Soda.

Only things I can drink without being sickened in like 10 minutes.

Yeah, Europe completely changed my views on alcohol:

I love beer now. My number one is Guinness, but Budweis (the Czech original, not Budweiser), 1664, Warsteiner, Paulaner, and Dos Equis are high on the list.

I love red wines even more, especially in sangria. After San Sebastian, everywhere we went was hardcore sangria-land. It was amazing.

There is nothing quite like a mojito; it's the only drink I've ever had that makes rum taste good.

Tequila. That's all I need to say.

Magnifico

I also became a much bigger fan of beer when I was in Europe. Guinness over there is completely different than here in the States (they pour it right in Europe). Also a lot of the import beers taste a lot better in their home lands. Try a Heineken in The Netherlands and then drink one of the imported ones in the States and you can tell that they are two completely different beers.

I agree with you on Mojito's. They are the best. I can't seem to find any place here that will make them. When I ask for one the response usually is we have sangria.

I've always wanted to try an Adios Motherfucker, but I may never be that brave:

1 oz vodka
1 oz tequila
1 oz gin
1 oz rum
1 oz blue curaçao
1 can of Sprite/7-up

Mmm.. my friends and I routinely order Adios MOtherfuckers when we get into a bar/club near last call. After all, you need something to get to work on you before they ring that awful, awful bell.

Another good one is the Red Death (also known as Red Devil).

Mix a Kamikaze with Alabama Slammer, serve it on the rocks.

It tastes like Hawaiian Punch but it'll knock people on their ass for some reason.

Hofbräu Dunkel and Hell (dark and lager brews) were damn good. I had a liter and a half of the lager, and a half-liter of the dark, and it was like a double-shot of cheer. Somehow I'd managed to forget that until it was mentioned in another thread. . . somehow. . .

I used to be a beer loving gal till i found out im allergic to it! Sucks! When i was drinking beer it was Heineken, Corona (def tastes better in mexico), Killians and 2 michigan brews: Bells Oberon and Winterwhite (summer and winter, respectivley). And of course no trip to the bar was complete with out multiple Yager Bombs and Red Headed Sluts!

I know drink Stoli Raz and Redbull, Stoli Raz and Sprite, Malibu and OJ, and many many Yager Bombs and Red headed Sluts!
