Hello all,
I'm from New Zealand but have a British passport. I am travelling for aproxx 4months next year to Europe and when I come back to Kiwi-land, will be going to University. I then got thinking, why not study overseas? I have been looking over the net and can't find any answers. Over here, our High School qualifications are called NCEA, I believe NZ is the only country who uses this. So my question is, how do I qualify for an overseas Uni. In NZ, if you are 20+ and a New Zealander you can get acceptance into any Uni as long as you pass your intermediate year. Is this the same for overseas too or just NZ?
Cheers

Are you planning on doing your entire course overseas? If not I'd reccomend getting into a local uni which has a study overseas program and doing that for 12 months or whatever. Most uni's in my experience have sister uni's overseas you can study with so it souldn't be a problem.
If you do want to do the whole shebang overseas I'm sure someone will be along to help you shortly
Good Luck
Oh and welcome to the boards!

Yeah im looking at doing the study overseas thing as well. Its handy because at my uni anyway you dont have to pay whatever the international fees are at the uni, I just pay my normal uni fees which are payed via hecs (government loan system) anyway.
You can go over to other unis that we have partnerships with for a semester or a full year. Im looking at going over to either Norway or England for a semester soon
