Hey,
I've been checking out the site and had some questions of my own, firstly am planning a year's trip to italy, backpacking starting from the north and working our way south for the first few months and then hopefully finding a job and place to stay. Any general advice from the yoda's of travelling would be good! We're planning on doing the fly by the seat of your pants thing, but having spoken to a couple of Italians, albeit italians that refuse to travel anyway but first class, they don't think this is the best way to go. Securing a job and apartment before you get there is what they say, kind of difficult when you haven't actually decided where or when to stop.
I was also wondering if there is anyone that could advise good places to stop in on, it would be nice to go to some places that are a little different. And once again on the popular topic of jobs, a general idea on jobs, whereabouts people found it easiest to get jobs and what kind. Oh and we were also wondering if italy were as strict with camping regulations as England, will you find yourself in kak, if you are not on a campsite?
Cheers! Just trying to clear some of those butterflies that have been stirred up by people going, you can't do that, I'd never do that and all the rest of it.
