the best job referral system ever is......friends!! though it may take time, they always keep their ears open and who knows who you may meet on your travels. for instance i met an aussie some two years ago while traveling in europe and we kept in touch when i left, as it turns out he's still in europe and he just offered me a job in rome!!! everything is legit, i leave in two weeks. remember dont burn your bridges. i know someone said a quote--- he who dies with the most friends wins! its true, just be friendly!

But that's definitely the frame of mind that will help all travelers(heck, everyone on this planet) tremendously, not just on a backpacking trip, but throughout life. Thanks for the inspiration. Hope you have a great time! B) |
Speaking of friends..How about a job for me in Rome??
I am always looking for a job abroad! Anyone out there with some connections? I have a Bachelor's in Finance and will soon have a technical degree in computer networking. I am looking for anything that will pay well enough to cover my bills, student loans, and maybe a little travel too! Thanks! foofiter  |
Well, I can give work to anyone coming through Seattle that can legally work in the US (sorry!!) and has catering or fine dining service experience. :) Pays $11 / hr, which isn't too bad. B)
