Isa it a good idea to be able to speak Spanish if you're gonna try get a job there while backpacking? OR is it even worth goin backpacking in Spain? Where is the best place?

Of course its worth backpacking there. As far as getting a job, I am sure they would like you to be able to speak some spanish. But its an easy language to learn a few words in.

2017 : Dublin, South Africa, Grand Cayman (planned)

Need a Railpass for that Trip to Europe?

thanx Ye, I guess it wouldnt be too hard learning a different language. They say, 2nd time is easier. I know Jap so it shouldn't be too hard.... "Gracius"

I studied Spanish for a week before going to Spain and it did wonders for me... Granted, it was a lot easier coming in w/ French as a base (they're very similar), but I found that using some language CDs from Pimsleur, it was very easy to learn the basics... and VERY useful, as many people in Spain speak no English whatsoever - unless you stick to the tacky tourist areas.
