Okay - here's the skinny - going to Europe for indefinite period of time. Would like to get my TEFL/TESOL cert. so it's killing two birds with one stone - spend four weeks in European country through the summer studying/get financial aid, plus get certified. Now's the problem - to get fin. aid, it has to be a real college - just a normal uni not a language one. I've been looking through FAFSA and am having a bitch of a time finding one that is listed with them! Okay, found one in Ireland (NUI) - looked perfect but you need your "primary" degree and I'm still in college. Now, Ive found one in Leeds that looks pretty good, but I want other options - it's a little bit pricey and then there's the what if I don't get in aspect! Does anyone know of any colleges overseas (I'm not picky - my list goes Ireland, UK, Norway, Poland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece... anywhere!!!!) that have the programs that are applicable for fin aid that don't require a million dollars down or a degree???? Please help!! I need to get this squared away ASAP!!!

Thank you guys so much for the info so far - definitely am VERY interested in the uni in Malta! I'd love to spend a few weeks there. I'm just waiting for more information from them now.

Thanks for the link to the esl cafe. They have a message board that I signed up for so I can hopefully find more resources.

This is the addres for the place in Ireland - seems fabulous!! http://www.nuigalway.ie/edu/

If anyone else has more ideas, please keep em coming.
