HAHA!!! Well...I met a guy in my hostel in Berlin and we became friends....He is 30 and from Amsterdam...He has lived there all his life...So I tell him that i was thinking about staying in Europe longer if I found a job...

The day after that he tells me that he talked to a friend of his who owns a "Natural Shop" (better known as a "Soft Drugs Shop") and she said to tell me to send her my CV and my picture (dont worry...it wasnt of me flexing...it was professional)...Today i got an email back from her offering me a job to work part time at her shop...its decent money and a free flat in Amsterdam too....I will be starting in the end of June right after my week in the Greek Islands....I will be selling magic mushrooms and various other pills of many kinds provoking many different effects....I shall be an educated drug dealer.....

HAHAH!!! SO!! if anyone comes to Amsterdam...Please come visit me at the shop!!! I´d be glad to deal you some drugs!

Hrmm... my li'l tourist book here calls 'em "Smart Shops," and yeah, they're legal alright What's the name of the place? I'll be arriving in the Dam on the 9th of July, and I'm curious to see if these "natural" versions of things are anything like the real thing!

Dude, I am so there. Let me know where it is, I will in Amsterdam right around that time. We can pop some pills in dedication to travelpunk.

Don't worry joan, I'm sure there are plenty of people in Thailand hanging around the hostels that will offer you jobs selling drugs too.

WOW, that's awesome! Lucky bastard you! What about the legalities of long-term stays with visas and shyt, tho? How does that work? And, what's a "CV?"

curriculum vitae - i honestly doubt adam has one at his age. it's just a fancier word for resume - technically, i think only true professionals use them, by that name - like the ophthalmologist i used to work for, him and his lot.

HAHA...

Joan, I have a pretty decent C.V. actually....network administrator from 16 to 18....and real estate agent/mortgage broker from 18- ....................with many different certifications....so...HAH...dont give me that....."I dont think he has one at his age" CRAP.....haha....j/k dont offense taken!

About the Visas thing....Amsterdam LOVES foreigners.....Espicially Native English speakers....Canada, USA, OZ, South Africa....ya get the picture.....SO, all they make you do is have someone sponsor you who has a business and they go to the police and register you for a 3 month work visa.....all they have to say is that they will help you pay your taxes, give you work, and find you a place to live....you need your passport, Birth certificate, and drivers license.....after 3 month visa expires you go back and get a 1 year work visa...but only if you havent gotten in serious trouble and (heres the catch) have been taken Dutch Language classes that are offered for free........after the 1 year visa expires you apply for a 3 year visa.......after working and living there for 3 years you can gain dual citizenship and a EU passport....!!!
Like i said....THEY LOVE NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS....so it wouldnt be too hard to find a job if you looked in any tourist related industry in Amsterdam....
