As your broke ass wonders around Edinburgh not knowing how in the hell your going to pay for a bed tonight, your could not help but notice the construction site across the road from where you have been sulking...Go and talk with the Foreperson of the site, he may be able to help you out with a couple of days work...it will most likley not pay very well, but hey, your desperate.

And if that don't work....

Keep and eye out for Landscape and Roofing type contractors, general labor is always needed somewhere, you just have to find it...and if you get lucky and hook up a gig, they will almost always pay cash money...

Met a couple of people in Madrid one went to Dublin, Ireland searching for work. They both got jobs at pubs that paid cash and learned to speak English in that time too. One of these spanish guys had a thicker Irish accent than that Leprechaun from the Lucky Charms commercial! It was funny and at the same time bizarre listening to this Madridleno speak that way .

So donīt forget to hit up the pubs for work too!

I have a friend that has been leaving in amsterdam for the last 9 months or so, and he is working for this bar/comedy club/restaurant. He gets payed under the table. All he does there is pass out flyers promoting the bar/comedy club/restaurant, and he gets payed for doing that. Not bad of a gig to do. He only works 3 hours daily.
