I don't know a thing about Oz wonderbird...or about bartending for that matter..but my guess would be you could just tell 'em about your extensive experience and they'd consider that enough. As long as you know what you're doing, whats the point in spending money to learn what you know?

This is some pretty handy stuff I've been reading. I don't plan on bartending when I get to the UK, but I've always considered it a good job to get when I end up having to pay University fees and all that horrible nastiness. Do bars hire young people that often? 19ish? I said I didn't know anything about bartending. Well, I'm on my way! I can make a smashing White Russian

Love white Russians

Welcome to the boards, wonderbird!

I'd imagine that if you can make the most common cocktails, and have a sparkling personality, you'll be fine heck, they'll probably just have you make a bunch of drinks for your interview and go from there. If anything, I don't think that you'll not get a job due to lack of experience, it'll most likely be because of the lack of job openings.
Tha's my guess anyway
